What Is Whole-Window Performance?

It’s an excellent time to check your doors and windows as we move from summer to fall. You may end up paying greater utility rates if they’re old, worn or malfunctioning. According to studies, non-energy-efficient windows can waste up to 23% of the energy necessary to keep buildings cool. Consider replacing your windows with Renewal by Andersen® units to avoid this from happening.

As part of the company’s outstanding network of window replacement contractors, Renewal by Andersen of Wyoming is proud to share with you what we really mean by “whole-window performance”.

Innovative Window Frame Material

Renewal by Andersen of Wyoming’s Fibrex® window frame material combines wood and vinyl. Fibrex is twice as strong as vinyl and does not expand or contract during temperature fluctuations, improving the energy efficiency of double-hung windows and other window types. The colors of our window frames are baked in the material, and they will not fade; Fibrex will also not chip, corrode, rust, peel or blister.

Renewal by Andersen of Wyoming’s Fibrex window frame material is a composite of wood fibers and polymer. Fibrex is twice as strong as vinyl and does not expand or contract during temperature fluctuations.

Energy-Efficient Window Glass

Our Fibrex window frames are paired with High-Performance™ Low-E4® glass. An insulating layer on both sides of this glass helps prevent undesired heat transfer. It also prevents solar heat from entering your home during the summer. During the winter, the glass prevents heat from escaping through the windows. This coating also absorbs damaging ultraviolet (UV) rays, preventing fading of your furnishings.

As a trusted window contractor, we guarantee that our window glass includes various energy-saving features. We employ a two-sealant mixture of compressed butyl and silicone. Our twin seals help prevent seal failure and energy loss. This also holds our window glass in the frame and keeps it energy-efficient throughout the life of the windows.

Professional Installation

Every time we replace windows for our customers, we make sure they are installed precisely. Our procedure begins with a home visit. Our representatives will take the time to understand your needs, queries and concerns. This is followed by an inspection of the window apertures.

Our windows are always made to order. This assures our windows will completely fit your window openings, eliminating the danger of air leaks. After that, the installation will be as quick and painless as possible. Our installation crew is fully equipped to handle any structural obstacles. Our installers are factory-trained and will not make mistakes.

Renewal by Andersen is the leading window company for replacement windows in the U.S. We offer one of the strongest window and door replacement limited warranties you will ever find. Give us call at (307) 650-4073, or fill out our contact form to speak to one of our experts today. We proudly serve home and business owners in Wyoming, including Casper and Douglas.
