Clean off debris and dust from each side of your windowpanes. Soapy water or liquid window cleaners will help soften and dislodge the most stubborn debris stuck on them. Old windows usually have issues with locks, handles and hinges. They become stiff or malfunction due to normal wear and tear. To ensure they remain functional for several years, hire a window contractor to repair them and improve your window’s operability.
