Our Trademark Worry-Free Installation Process

Renewal by Andersen® of Wyoming aims to be the only window contractor you’ll ever need when it comes to a completely satisfying window replacement process. This is why we designed our worry-free process, providing a personalized, satisfying, and no-hassle window replacement.

Here’s a quick walkthrough of our process:

  1. Initial consultation and pre-installation measurements – Upon first visit to your place, our expert consultants listen to your needs and articulate them into window replacement specifications. Once we take care of the paperwork and other pre-installation details, our factory trained professionals take detailed notes and measurements. Accuracy is important at this stage as our replacement windows are all built to fit. We then take the specifications to our factory.

  2. Arrival and preparations – On installation day, our team arrives early at your home with the completed replacement windows. Each member of our team makes sure that preparatory steps are taken, like moving furniture and valuables, clearing the work area, laying down tarps and drop cloths, and wearing appropriate footwear, before we even remove a single window.

  3. Removing the old windows – We’re the window company who wants to keep your home’s integrity intact, so we take extra care to remove your old windows cleanly. Every house is built differently, so we don’t decide on the installation method until this stage, where we can see the actual condition of the wall openings. We also perform repairs as needed.

  4. Installation and weatherproofing – Once the wall openings are ready, we then proceed with installation proper. The window assemblies are slotted into the prepared window opening and then secured. We then make sure that all windows are fully operational—every lock, hinge, and casement window crank. Every double hung window sash is tested for full operability. Only until then that we proceed with sealing the gap between your walls and window frames with insulation, and covering the gap with trim.

  5. Inspection and cleanup – Before the team leaves, our team leader conducts a demonstration of our windows’ features, and asks you to inspect the windows yourself. Anything that’s not to your satisfaction will be corrected. Our team then thoroughly cleans the work areas and returns everything to the way they were. We also dispose of the old windows at no extra charge.
